Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox, who studied for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. Lennox was able to live by surviving on a student stipend, and work part-time jobs. Lennox did not feel content with her performance compared with others at the Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976, as a member of a band called Dragons Playground. However, she left before her band was asked to participate in I.T.V.'s talent contest New Faces. The main part of her role was The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until 1980. This is where she first came across Dave Stewart with whom she would form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox began work for Diva in 1992. This was her debut solo album. The album was hugely successful both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top blues, soul and jazz tunes. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four improvised tracks for piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. Her first album"Now I'm Letting You go... is the perfect accompaniment to her work of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is an Scottish philanthropist political activist and singer-songwriter. The latter part of the 70s was when she achieved minor fame as part of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international fame in the 1980s when they formed Eurythmics. Lennox debuted her solo music career in 1992, with her debut album Diva. It included a number of popular songs including the hit song Walking On Broken Glass and Why. Medusa, a 1995 studio album features the cover versions of some popular tracks like No MoreI Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with seven studio albums by herself and one compilation. |
